DIY Kids Lemonade Stand
Ok, so this is actually Brody's Donut Stand, but I doubt very many people will search for how to make a donut stand so in an effort to get more traffic (don't judge!) I have titled this a DIY Lemonade Stand. It really can be anything though, even a kissing booth for Valentine's day!
- Wooden crate: I opted for a painted crate (39.99$ at hobby lobby but 50% off!)
- TWO wooden posts: you can use whatever you want for this, rods, posts, etc. Ours measure inches long
- Foam board
- paint of your color preference
- multi purpose adhesive spray
The only supplies I actually had to purchase were the first 3
Step 1: Paint materials desired color, we chose white to match the pre painted crate and then used some grey to give it the weathered look.
Step 2: Screw rods into the crate with opening facing the back. We opted to place the rods towards the front of the crate but I have also seen the sign placement on the backside closest to the opening of the crate.
Step 3: Make the sign. Now this is where things get a little tricky and can be done anyway you please. I bought some fun letters to use for the sign but ended up completely hating the way it looked (personal preference, it just wasn't my vision). I ended up purchasing a design off etsy for 10$ and printing it at Office max. I used the spray adhesive to apply it to the foam board.
The best part of this is it is functional. Carter loves to use it for pretend, it makes a GREAT photo prop, AND doubled as an accessory for his birthday decor!
